1. What is the best musical concert you've ever attended? The worst?
Ok, I have to say that I have a tie. My most favorite concert ever was seeing the Spice Girls in Montreal. I was SUCH a huge fan (yah, shut-up!), and I still am. Well, the concert was a couple of weeks after Gerri quit and I was worried there wasn't even GOING TO BE a concert. But the show went on, it rocked from the 10th row. My coolest experience at a concert was at Edgefest where I got to hang out back stage (long story, friend at the time was "dating" Tre Cool of Green Day) and we got to hang out before they performed and I played pool with Billie Joe. I also got to chat with Bif Naked and she was very cool.
2. How long did it take for you to know 'the boy' was 'the one?'
I was always a believer of when you meet "the one" you'll know. I knew from the first date that it was going to be serious, from the second week that it was forever. So, for all you non-believers....you WILL know.
3. You've got like 154789 links on your blog. Do you read each one every day?
Umm...actually...it's only 154788 links... :) But no, I don't read them all every day. I have become very reliant on those stars so honestly, if you don't use Blogrolling, I check those sites out about once a week, the rest I read when it says they update. There are a few exceptions of people I check daily who aren't starred.
4. What kind of wedding do you want to have? Big, small, simple or extravagant?
Well, I want a medium and simple wedding. I am not an extravagant person and so that would be completely out of character and I am not inviting tons of people just to have a lot of guests. I want it to be nice, and for everyone to have a good time. I am thrilled with the place we have booked so I am sure it will be great.
5. Why do you hate the Maple Leafs so freakin' much?
Cause they are so darn cocky. And duh...GO SENS GO! Rivals, hell-o! :)
#1. I have a friend who is scared of balloons. I'm afraid of birds. Do you have any weird phobias to top ours?
I actually have a fear of getting a Q-tip rammed in my ear. I cannot have anyone near me when I am using one, and I stay as far away from the bathroom door as possible so my elbow doesn't get bumped. My heart starts beating fast if I hear someone near the door.
#2. If you had a thousand dollars handed to you and were told that you had one day to spend it all (no saving!), what would you splurge on?
Hmm....that's not really THAT much money...I think I would go out and buy the pug dog I really really want.
#3. If someone were to pen a novel or screenplay of your life, what would they title it and why?
Now THIS is a hard question. I'd have to say they'd title it The Many Stages of Shannon: The Good, Bad, and the Lovely. I've gone through so many differents stages (as does everyone) and they are now so clear to me. Each chapter would be titled according to the stage, similar to Piaget's stages.
#4. What do you hope people notice when they first meet you?
I can't think of anything, I've never thought of that before....but I DO hope they DON'T notice my chub spots.
#5. What is your "unwinding ritual"? What do you do to shake off stress?
Well, depending on the time of day I either (day) go to the gym or go for a jog, or (night) have a bath and read.
