An act like the one today confuses me. Call me naive, but I just do NOT understand why people/ countries have to do such things.

It also scares me. It's only time until there is a war. I never wanted to see that in my lifetime. What scares me the most is how close I really am to all of this. Ontario. New York. Right beside each other. I love knowing that I am Canadian, not American...very detached from the US but this event makes me realize just how "attached" Canada really is....and how possible this kind of thing is.

The airport here is closed. Buildings are being evacuated. I feel sick.

My thoughts go out to all those I know and those I don't know.

On a lighter note (?)....They are saying this is the worst attack on the US since Pearl Harbor. I guess Ben Affleck will be starring in a new movie in the near future.
