Family Roots

This is my friend Liz and she is Indian.

Her parents came to Canada from Guyana.

But their parents are from India. And their parents. And their parents...While she was born in CANADA, she is most definately Indian.

What is this genealogy lesson about you ask? This guy tells her that her historic roots are Guyanese (sp?) and that she is not Indian. She is currently seeking counselling to get over the trauma. Email him and tell him he is wrong for insulting her, her family, and her culture and homeland. India.
