2004-06-15 - Suprise Rant


Oh my god. Have I ever told you how much I hate suprises? DON'T throw me a suprise party because I hate them. Why?

1. I hate being caught off guard.

2. I WILL find out about them (I'm NOT stupid, and I am VERY perceptive)

3. I do NOT enjoy having to pretend I don't know

4. I get a kick out of ruining suprises

5. I refuse to ACT suprised...and I think that's the whole intended effect, no?

6. I WILL say I knew about it if asked

7. You will feel the whole thing was ruined. Ha. It was. Stupid party planner. You sucked.

Why this topic you ask? I am in the middle of this right now. A "suprise" party, a "stag" that was originally only for guys, and now they are trying to invite girls, but I am not supposed to know about that, so I'm not even technically invited since nobody has ASKED me to come, I only know through the grapevine I'm SUPPOSED to come....So I am being stubborn and making plans for that day. Oh, I am sorry. I can't come to MY party because I have plans...but since I wasn't invited yet...I guess it's not even my party.

Ugh. Too complicated, more of a rant. Excuse!
