Just To Get Away

Sometimes you just need to get away. Away from normal routines, people, and places. And simply relax. And that is exactly what I did this past weekend.

What did I do in the big town of Guelph, while staying in res at my old U of G? Watched movies. American Sweethearts. Unbreakable. Finding Forester. Got hugs from one of the people I care about most. My "sis". I got to know more about a very cool gal, known on here as NCSS, or better yet, Nic. She's a real doll. Funny. Beautiful. Smart. I'm very glad we met. And I'm very glad she's there close to sis. Someone has to keep her in line. ;) I went out for coffee. Went out for lunch with my old roomie. Went for a walk in the Arboretum and wanted to crash a wedding reception. Instead I just "borrowed" a large white ribbon off of a tree. Went to Canada's Wonderland. It was a blast.

Anyways, this is a boring entry, but I just wanted to make note of what I did and share some photos I took.

An hour and half (and 47 seconds) later. Top Gun. Fun stuff.

By FAR the best ride there, eh Nic? Drop from the top to the bottom (227 feet) in 3 seconds. Can you say stomach in mouth?
