2002-08-01 - Porn At The Library?

I am very excited because the apartment I am moving to in September is right near the huge library in the city. When I was young, I'd go there all the time and come home with an arm full of books. So, the other day I decided to go get a new card because my old one had expired a few years ago since I moved out of the city.

And of course, you are wondering where this is going....

A cute guy is helping me out. He looks up my name in the computer to see if I am still in the database. Yep. I am. So he gives me the card, I sign the back.

Him: You're good to go!

Me: Great!

Him: Oh, except you have an overdue charge of $7.80.

Me: Really? For what book(s)?

Him: "Trading In The Stock Market", "Banking For Dummies", "101 Intimate Questions"....

Me: *mumble* Do you take Interac? *mumble*
