Sore Spot

Today my mother tells me that I drink way too much Diet Pepsi. I respond with "Yes, well, I drink as much Diet Pepsi as you drink wine. At least I'm not an alchie". Face drops. No response. She's not actually an alcoholic but she does drink a ton of wine, which I HATE. Anyways, it's a sore spot, and she always gets defensive. I push all the right buttons. I love you Miss Hannigan. *smirk*
